Captures and analyzes detailed VAS business intelligence to provide ISPs actionable metrics on the in-market performance of their service campaigns and programs.
Reporting and analysis using Business Intelligence allows BSPs to gain new levels of insight into how subscribers buy and use their VAS
- Determine any problem areas in the VAS lifecycle and take corrective action
- Understand the early warning signs of service churn and take action – before the customer has churned
- Measure the effectiveness of awareness and promotional campaign
- Isolate specific customer segments based on their behavior and preferences and send targeted meaningful and relevant campaigns
Insight into subscriber and service usage is critical to understanding any of the root causes of breakage in the VAS lifecycle. The VAS Desktop Container tracks and logs all subscriber clicks, and sends these events back to the VMP™ to store in a data warehouse. VAS Intelligence allows ISPs to query, report, and analyze this data to gain new levels of insight into how subscribers buy and use their VAS. This allows ISPs to measure the performance of their VAS programs, understand the effectiveness of their awareness campaigns, track subscriber usage, and identify any problem areas or breakage points in the VAS lifecycle.
Some of the information that can be derived from VAS Intelligence includes:
- A Campaign scorecard which allows ISPs to understand the effectiveness of a particular campaign. This includes metrics, such as the total number of recipients, number of message views, and message clicks. These campaigns reports can be compared to other campaign reports to analyze their relative effectiveness.
- Fulfillment analysis that tracks every stage of the fulfillment process from the initial provisioning request until the time the service is successfully activated. This allows the ISP to identify the precise points of breakage points that prevent subscribers from activating their VAS, and to make any necessary adjustments to improve the subscriber experience.
- Service Subscription and churn analysis to better understand service adoption levels, and how they are affected by different bundling strategies, new service features, and other factors.
- Service Use and Effectiveness can also be analyzed using events collected from different VAS as subscribers use them. For example, Radialpoint Security Services provide detailed reports on security related events, such as the top Viruses found on user’s PCs this week, or the percentage of users having specific security settings on/off.
